Someone on facebook shared this recipe that I'm about to share, these are
super easy to make, the only problem is that mine tasted like there was
too much banana, but I don't think they were ripe enough, so it's important
that they are very ripe. These are easy to make to bring to a party, put
on the table at your house, pack in the kids' school lunches, etc.
What you need
2 very ripe bananas
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 cup dark chocolate chips
1 heaping tablespoon of peanut butter, crunchy or creamy works
Equipment:
Mixing bowl
A potato masher
Baking sheets
A whisk or sturdy spoon
Measuring cups and spoons
Cooking spray
What to do
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees f. Then grease a baking sheet or
however many baking sheets you plan to use. If you plan to double the
recipe, then you will need to adjust it accordingly.
Step 2. Peel the bananas and place them in a mixing bowl. You want them
to be very ripe, to the point where they are mushy when you touch them.
Use your potato masher and mash the bananas until they are at a pudding
consistency. Mine were not quite this consistency, but they weren't ripe
enough. If you don't have a potato masher, you can also use a fork.
Step 3. Add the peanut butter, oats, and chocolate chips, stirring after
adding each ingredient. You can use creamy or crunchy peanut butter, it
doesn't matter.
Step 4. Mix everything together until everything is well combined.
Step 5. Place cookies on your prepared baking sheets. Bake for 8-10
minutes or until the edges begin to brown Then let cool completely.
Enjoy!
